Stathis Nikou was born in Athens in 1973. He graduated from the German School of Athens and was admitted to Military Medicine in Thessaloniki in 1990. Then he specialized in General Surgery at the 401st Military Hospital, at the 2nd Surgery Clinic of the hospital "Evangelismos" and in Sweden and Switzerland. After completing his surgical specialty, he worked as a curator in the military hospitals of Alexandroupolis and Athens. Postgraduate training in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery in 2009 at the Chirurgische Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg in Germany (Prof. Büchler). After his specialization he works as a curator at the 401 Military Hospital of Athens and at the same time he is a scientific collaborator of the White Cross clinics, the Athens Bioclinic, the Metropolitan General and Eugenidi.
